If you know quite a bit of people, then this is the perfect idea for you. Many people are looking to buy things, and they don't know where to go. If you could get paid by referring these confused people to sellers, then you would be making a lot of money!
Take the real-estate industry for example. If you were selling your house, you would have to give 6% of the sell-value to the relaters. The person bringing the buyer gets 3 percent, and the realtor representing the seller gets 3 percent. Instead of these home-sellers having 2 agents, they could pay you 1% and the agent you're referring customers to will get 5%.
