Projected Profit:$350 per parade
This is a money way for a kid looking to make a bit of extra money. Be sure to ask your parents permission before using this idea.
Parades are big events with a great amount of people. These people often get hungry or thirsty, and will buy drinks and candy for a good price. Parades are great places to sell, and you can make a large sum of money.
The general idea is simple. Go to a local grocery store and buy a few different types of candy bars, and a small selection of 12 packs or 24 packs of soda pop. You can sell the candy bars for 75 cents more than you bought them. For example, if the candy bar costed $0.75, then you would sell it for $1.50 making 75 cents of pure profit.
Then you can sell the soda pop cans for $0.50-$0.75 more than you bought them for. If you bought a 12 pack for $4.50, then each can cost you about 35 cents each. You could sell them for $1 and make $0.65 profit for 1 soda pop.
At the parade, you could easily sell 250 candy bars and 250 soda pops. That amount would be reasonable because at a parade there is masses and masses of people. The profit for your sales would be $350 dollars
