Running a Pheasant Farm

Projected Profit: $6500-$8500 minus food costs.

This is an idea for a kid who loves hunting. Be sure to ask your parents before using this or any other ideas.

If you live on a farm and have property, you can start a pheasant farm. You buy pheasants in the spring and sell them in the fall. You can find pheasants for $1 each. You're going to have to feed these birds for 4-6 months, but then you can sell them for $14-$17 each for male and female.

If you were to raise 500 chicks, you would be making $6500-$8500 minus food costs. If you wanted to raise more chicks, you could take it on.
